Target group

Single homeless men. No local connection required. Work with Criminal Justice Services in supporting ex-offenders. Can accommodate 12 rough sleepers on a nightly basis. Can accept service users with dogs.

Will not accept

No automatic exclusions. Applications considered on a case by case basis.

Referral agencies

Accept self referrals and referrals from any agency.

Referral procedure

Phone or call in any time. Application form completed at interview. Require proof of ID for housing benefit. Nightshelter: opens 10pm, accommodation allocated on arrival.

Support services

Staff available 24/7. Compulsory one-to-one keywork system with regular meetings. Action plans with agreed outcomes. Staff provide programme covering life skills, cooking, health & wellbeing, an activities programme and employment volunteering opportunities.

Health services

Weekly health clinic delivered in house by Homeless Person's Nursing Service.

Access to move-on

Options will be discussed and assistance provided in sourcing accommodation. Guidance in responding to offers of accommodation. Practical assistance on moving day of . Limited follow up support service available to service users.

House rules and tenure

No alcohol allowed on the premises. Smoking allowed in designated areas only. Licence agreement.

Resident access

If intending to be away more than 2 nights, must inform staff.


During specific visiting times. No under 18s. No overnight guests.

User participation

Regular residents' meetings. Residents representatives on advisory board and health and safety board.
